塞浦路斯老帥薩布利奇曾先後三次執教亞泰，在2012年首次入主亞泰時率隊奪得當賽季中超第六名 。2013年5月 ，薩布利奇接替李樹斌 ，第二次成為亞泰主教練 ，但次年因為戰績不佳下課 。2019年6月 ，薩布利奇第三次接過球隊教鞭 。
從帶隊風格上來講，薩布利奇比較崇尚進攻 ，帶隊指揮也很激情 ，日常訓練充滿自信 ，這正是滄州隊在中超第一階段最缺失的幾件東西 。
