11月3日進行的防人兩場熱身賽 ，中國隊在上海集訓的队韦队31名球員中 ，僅有韋世豪 、世豪郭田雨 、王上尹鴻博等少數球員未出場比賽，人离他們也成為中國隊此次精簡陣容的国足目標 。昨天開始，教练陸續有球員離隊，意补员入源除去上述三人外 ，充后還有在與浙江隊比賽中出場時間較短的防人王上源 。後續，队韦队仍會有球員暫時退出本期國家隊 ，他們大多未能在此前四場12強賽中得到出場機會 。
艾克森 、阿蘭等四名入籍球員 ，基本確定將隨中國隊繼續征戰 。從此前熱身賽的表現來看 ，阿蘭和洛國富狀態出色，有望在後續比賽中得到更多的比賽時間 。經過半個多月的國內集訓，中國隊的傷病問題也得到了緩解 ，傷勢基本痊愈的張琳芃等球員 ，也將繼續在隊內發揮作用。
考慮到此前四場12強賽 ，中國隊防守端存在的短板 ，教練組有意在西征前對後防人員做出補充。目前看來 ，此前因家事未能隨隊出戰的鄭錚 ，有機會加入此次中國隊的西征隊列 。另一名山東泰山隊後防球員吉翔也進入到了教練組的考察範圍 。
