北京時間6月9日 ，曼城據《The 哈兰好亮Athletic》報道 ，曼城將為新援哈蘭德準備一個別開生麵的德备歡迎會 ，挪威射手下賽季有望身披藍月9號戰袍 ，相仪需满前提是式想熱蘇斯轉會 。
大約在兩周前 ，穿号哈蘭德已經穿著曼城球衣在訓練場拍攝好了“定妝照”，足条一切準備就緒 ，曼城但尚未對外公布 ，哈兰好亮是德备因為對於曼城而言 ，哈蘭德是相仪需满一個極為特別的存在 ，他們計劃為他辦一場別開生麵的式想亮相儀式和歡迎會 ，類似於格拉利什或馬赫雷斯等人的穿号。
消息人士表示 ：“一旦他成為曼城球員 ，足条這些內容就會公布 。曼城”在7月1日前官宣並不存在任何的法律障礙 ，但曼城希望能夠等待良機 ，更好的發揮出這位巨星加盟所造成的影響力 。
哈蘭德目前正在為挪威國家隊效命，他在前2場比賽中攻入3球 ，幫助球隊全取6分 。目前為止他代表挪威國家隊的成績是19場18球 ，效率超高 。而在此之後他將直接開始自己的假期 ，直至這個亮相儀式啟動 。
哈蘭德的曼城球衣號碼尚未最終確定 ，他在多特身披9號 ，這無疑是他的首選。據稱他的經紀人團隊也非常期望他能夠身披曼城9號出戰 ，這方便他們發揮出他最大的品牌價值和商業價值 。
然而曼城方麵的態度是 ，他們也很認可哈蘭德方對於9號球衣的執著 ，但隻要目前身背9號的熱蘇斯沒有轉會離開 ，他們就不希望他被迫出讓這一號碼，這顯然不利於隊內團結 。
熱蘇斯一直在被阿森納熱烈追求著 ，孔蒂所執掌的熱刺也對他很有興趣 。然而 ，最近皇馬橫插一腳 ，球員更有可能奔赴伯納烏與巴西幫團聚 。這一天如果來的早的話 ，曼城未來10年的9號球衣就會如願穿在挪威人身上了 。
