新賽季開戰後 ，尤文發揮低迷 ，前4輪比賽沒有獲勝 ，同時在意甲上半程沒有一輪比賽後進入意甲前四 。而球隊的進攻能力下滑 ，在半程過後的進球數僅在意甲位居第12位 。盡管成績不佳 ，但是在阿萊格裏的帶領下 ，尤文的陣容打法有了明顯的改善 ，尤其是在去年的11月底後 ，尤文逐漸找到了昔日的狀態 。
從11月30日戰勝薩勒尼塔納開始，尤文圖斯連續10輪意甲保持不敗 。本輪意甲聯賽 ，尤文圖斯麵對亞特蘭大 ，而這也是一場事關爭四的生死戰 。盡管尤文在比賽中一度0-1落後，但是卻在傷停補時階段頑強的扳平了比分 。這場平局也使得尤文連續11輪保持不敗 ，7勝4平的成績在同時期的意甲眾多球隊中也是最好的 。
不僅如此，這場平局也使得尤文連續兩輪意甲聯賽過後都位居第四位 。盡管目前尤文僅比亞特蘭大多2分 ，而且多賽一場 ，但是一支找回狀態的尤文是任何意甲球隊都恐懼的對手 。
