北京時間2月23日消息 ，昨日中國足協公布了最新一期的人郑國家隊集訓名單，共39人入選 ，智月州队值得一提的底前带队是 ，在教練組的无法人員當中 ，廣州隊主帥兼球員鄭智依然在列 。返广知名媒體人潘偉力就表示 ，备战如果鄭智跟隨國足出征最後兩場12強賽 ，留队那麽他4月底前是媒体無法返回廣州隊帶隊的 。
潘偉力在個人社交平台上寫道 ：“國足教練組還有鄭智 ，人郑意味著鄭智在4月底之前無法返回廣州帶隊 。智月州队恒大整個備戰期由誰來帶 ，底前带队或者鄭智是无法否繼續留隊 ，都打上了問號 。返广”
就在去年12月 ，备战廣州隊官方宣布鄭智出任球隊主帥兼球員 ，而鄭智也開始了他的轉型生涯。新賽季，廣州隊先是與5名歸化球員完成解約 ，接著又頒布了隊內的限薪標準 ，有意讓足校小將挑起大梁 。
不僅如此 ，與廣州隊合約到期的多名國腳級球員 ，均被傳出離隊 ，例如劉殿座 、鄧涵文等人就被報道將要加盟武漢三鎮 ，新賽季主打年輕球員的廣州隊，並不被人看好。
