北京時間1月11日 ，新一屆中國男足正式集結 ，鹏谈這支國家隊總共征召了五名歸化球員 ，归化他們能否歸隊報到，球员气成為了外界關注的书面少底焦點 。主教練李霄鵬在接受采訪時表示 ，西国歸化球員的足征召缺征召是一個問題 ，“因為沒有書麵的李霄東西，'征召'缺少底氣 。鹏谈”
入選本期國家隊的归化五名歸化球員分別是阿蘭 、蔣光太、球员气艾克森 、书面少底洛國富和費南多。西国其中除費南多之外的足征召缺4人參加了此前的12強賽6場小組賽。回國之後 ，李霄蔣光太代表廣州隊出戰聯賽剩餘比賽 ，阿蘭從迪拜直接返回巴西 ，艾克森 、洛國富在與廣州隊解約之後 ，從廣州飛回巴西 。費南多沒有參加40強賽和12強賽小組賽 ，早早返回巴西療傷。他們是否會接受國家隊的征召成為媒體關注的焦點，從目前的情況來看 ，蔣光太出戰接下來兩場小組賽問題不大 ，而返回巴西的4名歸化球員重返國家隊難度不小 。
根據中國足協的集訓通知 ，“在海外的運動員於2022年1月23日到隊伍參賽地報到 。”
李霄鵬在接受采訪時並沒有避諱征召歸化球員的困難 。“我想他們展現出的實力毋庸置疑，都是高水平的歸化球員，現在有一個問題 ，教練選擇隊員 ，我的原則是召之即來 ，來之能戰 ，戰之能勝。從這三方麵 ，征召是一個問題 ，現在沒有百分百的書麵的東西 ，如果有個書麵的東西，可能會有比較大的底氣，但他們個人意見表態 ，為國出戰都是沒有問題 。”
4名歸化球員返回巴西之後，目前一直處於休假之中 ，並沒有與巴西國內俱樂部簽約 ，球員狀態令人擔憂 。對此李霄鵬表示 ：“狀態肯定是一個問題，自己訓練和跟隊訓練 ，跟國家隊訓練完全是兩回事 ，但即便這樣，我也希望他們能去日本 ，我們近距離的去觀察一下 ，現在我不會放過任何一個對這支球隊能提供幫助的人和機會 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
