黃健翔寫道 ：日本對巴西 ，传控場麵上不落下風，自踢傳控自如 ，得太節奏合理 ，黄健好踢到75分鍾,翔日下风才丟了一個點球。踢的本战巴西不落真太好了。到場觀眾六萬多人，在雨裏看球。掌聲喝彩聲加油聲都特別到位 ，一聽就知道球迷對比賽的理解能力和審美在什麽水平。
2022卡塔爾世界杯將在今年11月份開打 ，日本與西班牙 、哥斯達黎加/新西蘭、德國分在E組 ，而巴西與塞爾維亞、瑞士 、喀麥隆分在G組 。此前日本媒體報道稱 ，雖然日本隊身處“死亡小組” ，要與西班牙 、德國兩大歐洲強隊爭奪出線名額 ，但晉級八強依舊是球隊的目標 。
