上個賽季末 ，术成伊布在AC米蘭3-0客勝尤文的后复比賽中膝蓋受傷，也因此無緣歐洲杯 。米兰原本專家建議進行保守治療，官方关节功预个月預計需要六周的伊布時間 ，但保守治療效果並不理想 。左膝因此伊布前往羅馬接受全麵的镜手计两膝蓋檢查 ，最終選擇進行手術 。术成20-21賽季 ，后复伊布為AC米蘭各項賽事出場27場 ，米兰貢獻17球3助攻 。
迪馬濟奧表示 ，伊布預計將在一個月後進行恢複跑步訓練，兩個月後正式複出。
