隨著EDG的称电奪冠 ，電競再次成為輿論熱門討論的竞早話題 ，今天淩晨 ，取代北大學者王小東在社媒發文 ，足球曾因表示“電競早晚會取代足球 ，炮轰成為新一代的国足生活方式 ，我們老年人別看不慣”。热议
王小東曾因在社媒炮轟國足引發爭議，称电曾發布言論稱“ 談到貢獻 ，竞早中國男足就算回回拿世界杯 ，取代貢獻也比不上北大和清華 。足球曾因比不上任何一個學校 ，炮轰任何一個係。国足”
王小東今天在社媒發文寫道 ：“看到這次EDG得了冠軍 ，热议這麽多年輕人這麽激動，称电讓我想起了我在大學的年代 ，我們對於足球，對於女排 ，那些狂熱行為也是差不多的 。
一代人有一代人喜歡的東西，一代人有一代人的活法 。我看電競取代足球成為老百姓最喜歡的遊戲是早晚的事 。
這時候我就想起了這麽多的叔叔 、阿姨 、大爺 、大媽反對電遊 ，反對電競 ，拚命的想限製 ，最後搞出了限遊令 。
限遊令是對的 ，過分沉迷於電遊 ，電競，確實影響學習工作身心健康。問題是 ，通宵看足球就不影響學習工作身心健康嗎 ？為什麽沒有限電視台播放足球比賽令 ？也限製到隻有在周末才能播放足球比賽，一次限一小時 ？所以 ，很難讓人信服 ，限遊令是為了年輕人好 ，而不是欺負人 ，欺負年輕人不掌權……
特別是很多女性不知為什麽都跳了出來，這麽仇恨我們的孩子電競拿了冠軍 。我估計她們雖然比我年輕不少 ，但也至少是阿姨 、嬸嬸了 ，年輕一代的女孩子也不會恪守她們的生活方式……
總而言之 ，我支持年輕人有自己的生活方式 。電競挺好的 ，我為中國的年輕一代高興，他們能贏得電競 ，說明他們的智商高 ，腦快眼快手快……他們是我們的孩子 ，我們應該為他們取得的成績自豪而不是嫉妒……”
