5月7日 ，时隔因為在河南對山東的天中比賽中掌摑郭田雨 ，王上源被中國足協紀委會給予停賽3場同時罰款3萬的超再常化處罰 ，這也是人罚中超兩個賽季來，時隔549天後 ，单纪紀委會開出的律处第一張個人罰單 。
足協紀委會上一次針對中超開出個人罰單 ，罚正還要追溯到2019年11月5日 ，时隔當時的天中富力主帥斯托伊科維奇因為“發表不負責任言論” ，被停賽3場並罰款3萬 ，超再常化到如今整整隔了549天。人罚
2020年 ，单纪紀委會開的律处3張罰單 ，都和中超無關，罚正一張涉及國青“六小將”違紀；兩張事關女超打架 。时隔本賽季 ，由於中超恢複到了30輪 ，所以 ，足協盡可能恢複到“正常化”，包括紀律處罰 。
而截至5月7日 ，紀委會已開出了5張罰單 ，其中3張和中超有關，從足協開出的3張罰單可以看出 ，一切都在回歸“正軌”；此外 ，處罰更“細致化”，對深足和廣州的處罰 ，此前中超應該沒有過類似的罰單 ，但在亞冠賽場 ，包括廣州 、海港 、國安在內 ，幾乎所有的參賽俱樂部，都因為一些細節做得不到位被處罰過，這就要求中超各俱樂部 ，要更“職業” ，對於各種規定 ，更要有“敬畏”心理 。
