隨著巴塞羅那近期狀態的喜大西表回暖 ，阿根廷巨星梅西的普奔曝梅心情似乎也在逐漸由陰轉晴 。巴薩現在依然是态愿西甲冠軍的有力爭奪者 ，梅西也在不斷用自己的留队進球和助攻（西甲30次出場 ，貢獻25球9助攻）引領球隊前進。其父至於外界最關心的面高梅西去留問題 。來自英國《鏡報》的巴萨最新消息 ，梅西已經向巴薩高層透露了自己願意留隊的喜大西表態度 ，而且梅西的普奔曝梅父親也是其經紀人正準備飛往西班牙與巴薩主席拉波爾塔探討梅西與巴薩的未來計劃 。
據悉 ，态愿西班牙不少媒體也已經報道了關於梅西正式向俱樂部表示自己願意留下的留队消息 。這較之去年夏天梅西猶豫不決的其父態度而言 ，對於巴薩無疑是面高一大利好 。不過 ，巴萨眼看梅西與俱樂部的合同將在今夏到期 ，巴薩還是需要用更有誠意的報價來留住俱樂部的頭牌 ，畢竟曼城和大巴黎都在一旁虎視眈眈。兩家豪門都不缺錢 ，而且藍月亮一邊有著恩師瓜迪奧拉的感情牌 ，另一邊則有著美好的發展計劃以及梅西的密友迪馬利亞和內馬爾的邀約 ，而且據說大巴黎已經給梅西提供了一份2+1的大合同 ，待遇標準也是梅西無法拒絕的 。
為了體現留隊的誠意 ，梅西的父親（豪爾赫-梅西）已經動身前往西班牙 ，他將在近期與拉波爾塔進行密談 。話題顯然隻有一個，那就是梅西的續約問題 。西班牙TVE電視台表示 ，既然有了主動示好 ，巴薩方麵肯定也會盡最大努力提供一份豐厚的報價 ，以此讓梅西能夠繼續留在俱樂部效力 。而拉波爾塔也對身邊的人透露 ，俱樂部對於留下梅西很有信心 。
還有的西班牙媒體“言之鑿鑿”稱 ，巴薩會向梅西提供一份長達10年的合同，不過梅西的薪水將削減一半 ，梅西即便將來退役，也會在俱樂部擔任管理層或者教練的職務。
