昨日 ，李铁國足在下半場的希望反擊收獲兩個進球，然而無奈後防漏洞太多 ，中国主场中立主场在客場以2∶3不敵沙特 。比赛不同賽後 ，国踢中國隊主教練李鐵表示 ，完全球員在落後時沒有放棄 ，李铁很滿意他們的希望表現 。
在賽後新聞發布會上 ，中国主场中立主场李鐵表示 ，比赛不同球員在上半場表現過於拘謹 ，国踢落後了兩球 。完全但球員在落後的李铁情況下沒有放棄 。“我對球員說 ，希望要把每場比賽都當作人生最後一場比賽來打 ，中国主场中立主场任何時候都不能放棄 。我們要對得起自己，對得起國內1點熬夜看球的球迷 。”他強調 ，“我們的球員都很努力 ，我很滿意他們的表現 。”
打完四場比賽，國足結束近50天的西亞之旅，將返回國內備戰11月對陣阿曼 、澳大利亞的兩場主場比賽 。李鐵指出 ：“長期在國外封閉訓練比賽 ，對球隊影響巨大 ，我們希望能回到中國 ，在我們的主場比賽 ，這和在中立國踢主場比賽是完全不一樣的 ，但11月份的兩場主場比賽還無法確定能否在國內舉行。”此前有消息顯示 ，蘇州很有可能作為承辦地 。
回國後 ，隊伍需要先進行必要的防疫隔離。現在距離11月11日與阿曼隊的比賽還有近一個月的時間 ，李鐵希望隊伍盡量能在國內多參加一些熱身賽 。“首先需要好的訓練 ，更需要高質量的熱身賽 。其次是希望能夠在主場比賽 ，因為這與在客場 、中立地打比賽完全不一樣 ，我們需要擊敗更強大的對手 ，需要更努力去利用好主場優勢 。”李鐵說 。
最後李鐵特別感謝了到現場為國足助威的500多名中國球迷。
