當地時間本周一 ，成功巴薩官方發布公告稱 ，手术烏姆蒂蒂在訓練當中右腳第五蹠骨骨折 。预计當時，休战巴薩官方並未給出具體的官方个月傷停時間 ，隻是巴萨表示球員會在當地時間本周二接受手術 。不過《世界體育報》卻率先透露了烏姆蒂蒂的防线康複期 ，指出法國人需要休戰三個月之久 。巨坑接受
值得一提的成功是 ，在上周一 ，手术巴薩剛剛與烏姆蒂蒂降薪續約至2026年，预计法國人的薪資總額不變 ，但是巴薩可以將支付的時間延長 ，也等於變相完成了降薪 。但沒想到僅僅續約一周之後 ，烏姆蒂蒂就遭遇重傷賽季報銷 ，好在巴薩原本也沒打算再讓他上場。
烏姆蒂蒂現年28歲 ，在2016年夏天以2500萬歐元的價格從裏昂加盟巴薩 。來到巴薩後 ，烏姆蒂蒂一度有成為巴薩防線領袖的趨勢 ，身價也曾達到過7000萬歐元 。但連續不斷的傷病徹底摧毀了烏姆蒂蒂 ，法國人如今的身價隻有200萬歐元。本賽季，烏姆蒂蒂隻代表巴薩有過1次出場 。
