25歲的敲定凱西是一名科特迪瓦中場 ，他在2017年從亞特蘭大以先租後買的凯西方式轉會米蘭 ，並逐漸成為米蘭主力中場 。已接约年至今為止凱西已經為米蘭出場214次，受巴萨体打進36球 。检签不過凱西和米蘭的年薪合同在今年夏天到期，而且雙方遲遲沒能就續約達成協議 。敲定迪馬濟奧在個人網站上宣布，凯西凱西已經決定離開米蘭，已接约年並且和巴薩簽約 。
巴薩一直希望簽下凱西補強中場 ，從今年2月底談判加快了速度 。迪馬濟奧透露 ，凱西近日已經到瑞士盧加諾接受了巴薩俱樂部安排的體檢 ，並和巴薩簽約。凱西得到了一份四年合同 ，年薪700萬歐元 。最近幾個月以來的傳聞得到了證實 ，現在球員的轉會手續已經辦完了 ，凱西下賽季將在巴薩踢球 ，告別自己效力五年的米蘭。
而《米蘭體育報》報道，米蘭此前給凱西開出的續約薪水並不比巴薩低很多 ，但米蘭俱樂部拒絕向凱西的經紀人支付1000萬歐元的傭金 ，這導致凱西的續約談判破裂 ，最終凱西決定加盟巴薩。此外，巴薩主帥哈維也力邀凱西加盟 ，凱西為此很興奮，甚至拒絕了另外兩份來自英超的更高報價 。
目前米蘭積66分在意甲積分榜上高居榜首 ，領先第二名那不勒斯3分 。凱西接下來會專注於比賽 ，他希望幫助米蘭奪得本賽季的意甲冠軍，完成自己在加盟米蘭時的承諾 。
