盡管奪取了本賽季的接受意甲冠軍 ，但國際米蘭俱樂部的尴尬国米財政危機仍未解除。此前 ，张康有關國米俱樂部提議球員減薪的阳降消息引起了不小的爭議 。根據《共和報》的薪计消息，國米的无人球員們聽取了張康陽主席的減薪計劃 ，但沒有人同意 。接受國米高層 ，尴尬国米特別是张康張康陽主席希望球員們能夠在奪冠的喜悅中放棄兩個月的薪水 ，以幫助俱樂部緩解財政壓力。阳降國米總監馬洛塔清楚地向球員們表示，這一行為不是要求 ，是完全的自願行為 ，但沒有球員或者工作人員表示願意接受減薪。
《共和報》表示 ，張康陽的另一個方案是延遲支付兩個月薪水 ，這樣可以將這筆款項推後到2022-2023財年的報表裏 。但目前看來 ，這個方案也不會被接受 。據悉 ，國米俱樂部的管理層已經呼籲球員 ，董事會和教練組會給予他們一定的幫助 ，以緩解在特殊情況下的資金困難 。
《共和報》還表示 ，在減薪提議無人響應的情況下，國米俱樂部將被迫出售球隊的高薪球員 。此前 ，有消息稱 ，隻要有俱樂部願意承擔桑切斯 、比達爾、埃裏克森和貝西諾等高薪或輪換球員的工資 ，國米俱樂部將接受零租借費 。不過，這些球員的下家十分有限 ，各大豪門感興趣的球員是盧卡庫 、勞塔羅 、阿什拉夫 、巴雷拉等這些奪冠主力 。此外 ，國米主教練孔蒂也正在等待俱樂部的夏季轉會計劃出台 ，以決定自己是否繼續執教藍黑軍團 。
