近日，鲁梅已經退休的尼格尼奥拜仁慕尼黑俱樂部前CEO魯梅尼格日頻頻在公開場合接受媒體的采訪 。在接受意大利廣播電視公司Rai Sport采訪時 ，穆里這位昔日拜仁大佬透露，曾示最终葡萄牙名帥穆裏尼奧曾表態有意執教拜仁慕尼黑 ，好拜而當時南部之星正在考慮弗裏克離任後的仁们接班人 。
魯梅尼格的选纳說法是 ，“穆裏尼奧是鲁梅我們的一個候選人，而且我不得不承認 ，尼格尼奥他向我表態 ，穆里他想要來到德國 ，曾示最终想執教拜仁慕尼黑 。好拜”
不過，仁们後來的选纳答案外界也都明了。拜仁最終還是鲁梅選擇了年輕的納格爾斯曼 ，而穆裏尼奧也選擇執教意甲羅馬 。對此 ，魯梅尼格也進行了解釋，“很遺憾 ，這是不可能的事情，最終我們決定選擇一個性格不同的 ，但也許更加適合拜仁慕尼黑的人。”但是 ，魯梅尼格並沒有透露他們拒絕的原因 ，“之後 ，我們就推動了納格爾斯曼的簽約 。”
末了 ，魯梅尼格強調了自己對穆裏尼奧的尊重 ，“我對穆裏尼奧非常尊重 ，我希望他在羅馬能夠取得成功 ，他是個了不起的教練 ，也是世界上最好的教練之一 。”
無獨有偶，早在幾個月前 ，德國足壇名宿 ，曾效力過拜仁，也曾和穆裏尼奧共事過的巴拉克也曾透露，他知道穆裏尼奧和拜仁慕尼黑有過接觸，他當時表示 ，“我並不知道他們距離有多近，他們的對話到了什麽程度 。我隻是知道這個事情 ，穆裏尼奧和拜仁有過接觸……”
