在RTL記者桑富爾什看來，法媒德尚在歐洲杯開賽前讓本澤馬重回國家隊的质疑決定，十分值得商榷 ，德尚队太“法國的本泽這場失利提醒我們 ，足球跟其他運動不一樣 。晚战德尚重新征召本澤馬，平衡這個決定也付出了代價。法媒”
“我不是质疑說本澤馬回歸國家隊這件事不合理，但他回歸得太晚了 。德尚队太本澤馬開賽前回歸 ，讓法國隊原有的戰術計劃變得不平衡 。”
“是的 ，本澤馬是一輛F1賽車 ，德尚則是頂尖的車手 。但在一場比賽之前更改所有的設置 ，肯定不是一個理想的選擇。”
