上賽季中超聯賽第二階段前夕 ，主教隨著李霄鵬指導正式出任中國國家男子足球隊主教練 ，官方時任武漢隊助理教練的李金练李金羽指導接任球隊主教練一職 。憑借過往的羽继執教經驗以及對武漢隊的深入了解 ，李金羽指導較為順利地適應了身份的续担轉變，最終帶領球隊提前完成保級目標，任武俱樂部和球迷們也對教練團隊的汉队工作與付出表達了充分認可 。
對於此次留任 ，主教李金羽指導也對接下來執教武漢隊的官方生涯展現出信心，相信經過積極的調整 ，俱樂部將與將士和球迷們在乘風破浪的道路上 ，繼續並肩同行 ！
