12月12日，海港中超聯賽就將重燃戰火 ，外援正在世紀公園厲兵秣馬的中卫上海海港日前傳出消息 ，球隊外援中後衛邁斯再次舊傷複發 ，老伤率错联赛很可能無法跟隨球隊前往廣州出戰最後一階段的大概聯賽 ，這對於海港隊的过本整體實力無疑會造成一定的影響 。
克羅地亞中衛邁斯托洛維奇堪稱命運多舛 ，赛季剩余賽季初加盟球隊 ，海港外界對於其個人表現寄予厚望，外援然而在一場比賽未踢的中卫情況下 ，邁斯就在訓練中出現嚴重傷病，老伤率错联赛左膝十字韌帶斷裂 ，大概當時預估需要6-8個月的过本康複期 ，此後邁斯返回歐洲進行手術 ，赛季剩余康複休養 。海港一直到9月份 ，邁斯才返回國內 ，開始跟隨海港進行訓練 。就在克羅地亞人為12月的冠軍爭奪戰摩拳擦掌時 ，傷病再次從天而降 。
據隊內人士透露 ，邁斯此次受傷很可能還是年初的老傷複發 ，在訓練強度提升之後 ，無法承受 。目前海港方麵隊醫艾杜正在對邁斯的傷情進行評估 ，尚未確定最終的治療方案 。不過12月的中超邁斯肯定又將缺席 。
由於海港隊在主教練萊科接手之後 ，一直采用三中衛體係 ，對於中後衛位置上的人員儲備有比較高的要求 ，邁斯的傷退 ，對於海港在爭冠衝刺中的排兵布陣將造成一定的影響 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
