此前 ，反转廣州城是广州功勋中超球隊裏麵股改最為順利的球隊之一 ，廣汽集團已經派了工作人員進駐俱樂部 ，城大沧州但在4月1日球隊突然宣布放假，主力至今已經過去十天仍沒有消息。或离到目前為止 ，队年俱樂部不僅沒有引進新援 ，並且部分合同到期的主力隊員也沒有續約 。
例如 ，球隊的後防兩名主力唐淼和楊笑天，他們都已經合同到期 ，目前在滄州隊訓練 ，有可能加盟。作為廣州城的隊長唐淼，他效力球隊已經十年 ，從一名默默無聞的球員成長為國腳，俱樂部和他之間的感情都很深 ，不過人終究要麵對現實問題 。
至於另一名後防球員胡睿寶 ，據悉已經和升班馬成都隊簽約3年 ，上賽季這三名球員都是廣州城的後防主力 ，現在一下子都離隊的話 ，對於球隊的影響也不少。（廣州未贏夠）
