亨德森在下半場替補出場踢了45分鍾 ，第77分鍾勒溫為英格蘭贏得點球 ，亨德森主罰的點球被對方門將撲出 。英格蘭主帥索斯蓋特賽後承認，亨德森並非指定的點球手 。“我們安排的是拉什福德罰點球 ，之後是普勞斯 ，但當時他倆都被換下了 。我們本希望勒溫主罰這個點球 ，我希望亨德森讓勒溫主罰 。今後我們會指定罰點球順序。”
