中國隊昨天繼續在上海厚湃爾體育公園訓練 ，艾克按教第二批抵達上海的森国司职國腳沒有現身 ，訓練場上仍隻有首日的家队14名國腳 。剛剛打破塵封多年的练求中超進球紀錄的艾克森接受采訪時表示 ：“我們已經準備好了 ，在12強賽中有好的做好中锋表現 。”
艾克森今年的位置狀態井噴 ，不但為廣州隊打進11球 ，艾克按教而且還打破了由李金羽保持的森国司职119球聯賽進球紀錄 。談到如何把俱樂部的家队良好狀態移植到國家隊的比賽裏 ，艾克森說 ：“國家隊的练求體係和在俱樂部不同 ，俱樂部更加靈活 ，做好中锋要求沒有這麽具體 。位置在國家隊我們都要按照主教練的艾克按教要求去做，每個位置都有具體的森国司职安排 ，好在現在我司職的家队是我喜歡的中鋒位置 ，我希望能夠進更多的球 ，回報球迷和家人 。我現在非常開心 ，非常高興 ，這也是非常重要的 。”
“小熊”的體重是一個繞不過去的話題，較之去年 ，艾克森今年的身形已“苗條”了不少 。雖有些不情願 ，但他還是再次回應了自己的體重問題 ：“這是大家特別關心的問題 ，我也被問了很多次 ，我再回答一次。其實從加入中超開始 ，一直很注意體重 ，因為我是一個職業的球員，而且我現在已經32歲了，已經不是20多歲的小夥子 ，所以我更加注意自己的飲食 ，場上積極訓練 ，場下嚴格控製飲食 ，希望能夠用一個最佳的狀態去迎接國家隊的比賽 。”
另據消息 ，12強賽首輪澳大利亞隊與中國隊比賽的裁判組合來自韓國，主裁判可能從高亨進與金希坤二人中產生 。這兩名裁判員都有在中超執法的經曆 ，金希坤前不久在40強賽後半程主吹了中國隊與菲律賓隊的比賽 。
