克羅斯日前宣布退出德國國家隊 ，克罗接下來將專注於為皇馬效力 。斯肯适近日接受采訪時 ，皇马克羅斯表示 ，退役自己可能會在2023年選擇退役 ，年退他與皇馬的役合合同也正是2023年到期 。
“我認為2023年選擇退役就很合適 ，克罗那一年我33歲 。斯肯适到那個時候 ，皇马我會決定是退役否續約一兩個賽季 ，這件事還沒有確定 。年退但是役合我可以肯定 ，我會在皇馬退役。克罗”克羅斯這樣說道 。斯肯适
在德國國內，皇马克羅斯也遭遇過不少質疑 ，對此他表示 ，“我不想指責德國的球迷，因為畢竟還有很多球迷很欣賞我 。但有時候我感覺 ，有些人並不能很好地評判我這11年來的職業生涯 。在西班牙 ，情況就很不一樣 ，在過去的7年中 ，從我為皇馬效力的第一場比賽開始 ，大家就都很感謝我的付出 。”
