北京時間5月2日23:30 ，众多主场曼聯將在主場迎戰利物浦 。球迷賽前，涌入因此延迟很多球迷湧入老特拉福德球場 ，曼联聚集抗議 。抗议开球據悉 ，双红初步估計有約10000名球迷在比賽日當天聚集在老特拉福德球場內外 ，众多主场他們的球迷目的是抗議格雷澤家族對曼聯的掌控 ，並要求實行德甲的涌入因此延迟“50+1”政策 ，而之前曼聯選擇加入歐超聯賽的曼联嚐試則是直接導致這次抗議的原因 。
無獨有偶 ，抗议开球因為歐超聯賽一事 ，双红早前阿森納球迷也在酋長球場外大規模抗議 ，众多主场高喊“克倫克OUT” 。球迷
目前，涌入因此延迟曼聯已經加強了體育場周邊的安保措施 ，但俱樂部仍擔心球迷會通過阻撓球員和教練抵達球場，導致比賽推遲開球甚至延期 ，以此達到吸引更多關注的目的 。
即使最後比賽如期進行 ，但眾多球迷的無序湧入可能會導致比賽質量或因此受損 。另外，在曼聯退出歐超聯賽之後 ，曼聯CEO伍德沃德已經宣布將在2021年底離任 。
