沙特當地時間10月12日14時 ，中沙足协中國足協與沙特足協在沙特吉達簽署合作備忘錄 。两国录强流共理经雙方將在各級國字號球隊交流比賽 、签署球交青少年培訓 、合作化足裁判員發展以及商務開發與管理等領域進一步加強合作 。备忘
在簽約儀式上 ，享管中國足協主席陳戌源首先對沙特足協為此次中國男足國家隊赴沙特吉達參加世界杯預選賽提供的中沙足协周到細致的接待服務表示衷心的感謝 。陳戌源表示 ，两国录强流共理经此次備忘錄的签署球交簽署標誌著兩國足協合作的新起點 ，特別是合作化足在各級國字號發展 、青少年培訓交流 、备忘裁判等專業人才的享管培養等方麵的合作交流 ，將對兩國足球發展起到重要的中沙足协推動作用 ，沙特足球發展的两国录强流共理经一些成功經驗值得中國足球學習 。
沙特足協主席亞西爾·阿爾米沙爾表示 ，签署球交中沙兩國關係非常友好，雙方需要在足球領域進一步推進友好合作 。特別是在青少年培養方麵，希望雙方能夠加強交流 ，沙特足協歡迎中國各級青少年隊伍多來沙特和西亞地區參加比賽 。沙特剛剛啟動了女足國家隊和女足聯賽的建設 ，希望中方在女足發展方麵能夠與沙特足協分享經驗。
根據此次簽署的備忘錄 ，中國足協和沙特足協將組成聯合工作組 ，定期舉行座談和交流 ，推進合作項目開展，並在市場、競賽 、法務 、聯賽管理 、社會足球等足球管理領域共享經驗 。
中國足協常務副秘書長兼國管部部長陳永亮、沙特足協副秘書長易卜拉欣·阿爾卡巴等參加了會見 。
