，35歲的西齐西退前國腳陳濤通過個人社交媒體宣布退役 ，17年職業球員生涯正式落幕。名梅
2002年，年僅17歲的岁前陳濤被沈陽金德從高豐文足校買入，就此開啟職業足球生涯 ，国足迅速成為球隊主力 ，天才退役並在2004年成為球隊隊長 。那年
2005年夏天 ，曾梅转中國85一代國青在克勞琛的西齐西退率領下閃耀荷蘭世青賽 ，小組賽對陣土耳其 、名梅烏克蘭和巴拿馬3場全勝 ，淘汰賽首輪麵對德國 ，最終在兩度領先的情況下遭對手絕殺，身披10號球衣的陳濤是國青的核心 ，陳濤憑借在那場比賽中定位球直接破門和點球破門一戰成名 。並與梅西一同入選當屆賽事最佳陣容 。
世青賽閃光後 ，陳濤的俱樂部生涯並不如人們期望中的順利 。2007年 ，被比甲豪門安德萊赫特相中的他因申請轉會被拒與俱樂部產生矛盾，導致將近兩年無法正常比賽 。2008年北京奧運會，仍然入選中國國奧的名單的陳濤 ，在國奧隊首場小組賽中助攻董方卓打入中國男足在奧運會曆史上的首粒進球 。
2009年 ，陳濤離開金德 ，輾轉上海申花、天津泰達 、大連阿爾濱等多家俱樂部 。但由於自身的性格和傷病原因沒能達到球迷們期待的高度 。
2016年夏天 ，在中國頂級聯賽失去位置的陳濤，以自由身加盟了剛成立不久四川安納普爾那 ，隨隊征戰中乙聯賽 ，並最終在2018年幫助球隊衝甲成功 。
2020年初 ，四川FC因財務問題等原因宣布解散 ，效力球隊將近四年的陳濤再次陷入無球可踢的窘境 。最終 ，陳濤還是宣布結束了自己長達17年的職業球員生涯。
不過退役並不代表著陳濤與足球告別 ，陳濤在其退役聲明中寫道 ：“未來我將會換一種身份繼續從事所熱愛的足球事業，我對即將開始的下半場無比期待。”
