北京時間4月20日，烏拉圭體育記者布伊桑披露 ，赛老歐洲足球超級聯賽主席弗洛倫蒂諾告訴球員們 ，佛爷如果他們被禁止參加歐洲杯或世界杯 ，硬刚那麽歐超會自己組織世界杯比賽 。欧超
歐洲足球超級聯賽的将自己组界杯官宣猶如一劑重磅炸彈，這項由歐洲12家豪門俱樂部創立的织世賽事的誕生遭到了眾多反對的聲音。此前，队禁歐足聯已表示 ，赛老所有參加歐洲超級聯賽的佛爷俱樂部和球員都將被禁賽 ，球員將被禁止參加各類國家隊比賽；切費林則在北京時間今天表示 ，硬刚歐超球隊的欧超球員可能無法參加即將到來的歐洲杯甚至是世界杯 。
麵對歐足聯的将自己组界杯禁賽威脅 ，皇馬俱樂部主席 、织世歐超聯賽第一主席弗洛倫蒂諾態度極為強硬 ，队禁老佛爺告訴球員們 ，若他們被禁賽 ，歐超將自己組織世界杯賽事 ：“放心吧 ，如果球員們不被允許參加世界杯 ，那我們將會創辦自己的世界杯。”
此外，老佛爺還表示，如果歐超賽事失敗 ，那麽皇馬將不會參加歐足聯賽事 ：“隻要我還是皇家馬德裏俱樂部主席 ，即便歐洲超級聯賽失敗了 ，皇馬也不會參加歐足聯舉辦的任何賽事 。”
目前 ，弗洛倫蒂諾的此番表態還未得到外界的回應 。不過 ，可以預見的是，老佛爺這番態度激烈的言辭將會再次引起軒然大波 ，歐足聯很可能會再次因他的強硬態度采取新的措施 。
