廣州日報表示 ，为主廣州隊預計在3月6日左右在番禺基地集中 ，广州備戰新賽季 。队预队由於上賽季的计月主力球員紛紛離開，重新集結的日集廣州隊將在主教練劉智宇的帶領下 ，以去年參加亞冠的中球01年出生的預備隊球員為主 ，加上部分剛剛從足校選拔的年预更低年齡球員 。
