北京時間3月21日 ，万金油中國男足重新在上海的李铁虑选厚湃爾足球公園集中，開始新一輪集訓 。拒谈由於多名主力缺席 ，何战会偏大戰當前 ，术问主教練李鐵出言謹慎，重考择入對於涉及技戰術的万金油任何問題都拒絕回答 。
國足此前在海南的李铁虑选集訓 ，在熱身賽中嚐試了新的拒谈雙前鋒陣型，這樣的何战会偏陣型在聯賽中采用的俱樂部球隊並不多 ，陣型磨合就成為了最大的术问問題 ，有記者問及此事 ，重考择入李鐵表示：“關於戰術方麵 ，万金油我不想多談，李铁虑选我們希望能夠有更多的拒谈戰術組合 ，希望球員有更多的戰術靈活性。所以在選擇球員上 ，如果球員能夠打更多的位置 ，可能會增加進入到國家隊的機會 。”
本次集訓蔣光太和張琳芃都因傷缺席，而根據此前的集訓來看 ，他們兩人是李鐵希望打造的中後衛組合 ，大賽當前 ，兩人的缺席無疑對於國家隊的後防線磨合非常不利 。對此李鐵表示：“這是我們必須麵對的問題 ，如果40強賽真的有人受傷 ，我們比賽也得照樣去踢 。”
本期集訓 ，李鐵招入了王上源 ，而王上源在河南建業一直四支三中衛中的拖後中衛 ，有記者問李鐵 ，國足是否會在本期集訓嚐試打三中衛 ？對此李鐵表示 ：“我不太想談論戰術的東西 。”
另外，此前有消息稱 ，亞足聯有可能調整賽程，中國與菲律賓的比賽有可能被調整到第二場進行 ，這無疑將大大增加中國隊的比賽難度 。對此李鐵表示 ，自己還沒有得到亞足聯最後的通知 ，“這個可能會有變化 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
