《鏡報》表示 ，怒也曼聯正準備向博格巴再次開出續約報價 ，曼联而周薪將高達50萬鎊。欲万约博據悉 ，镑周曼聯的薪续這份報價中 ，基礎工資為40萬鎊，格巴更衣其它則為獎金條款 。室暴各項加起來 ，怒也博格巴的曼联周薪能達到半百之數 。
然而曼聯的這份報價讓更衣室出現了不滿 ，球員們對於俱樂部給博格巴開出的高薪感到憤怒 ，因為這會讓法國人成為全英國收入最高的球員 。曼聯更衣室認為博格巴配不上如此高的薪水 ，因為他的出勤率實在感人 ，並且還毫無愧疚地批評俱樂部及談論離隊。
《鏡報》指出 ，來自曼聯的消息源聲稱，如果博格巴最終接受了報價並且留隊 ，更衣室就會發生嘩變 ，球員們會要求與之相等的薪水 。消息源表示：“有些球員認為 ，當博格巴很難進入首發 ，並且一直在談論離隊的情況下 ，卻得到了2倍於他們的薪水 ，這是不合理的。”
目前，C羅是曼聯隊中薪水最高的球員，周薪為45萬英鎊 。在C羅之後 ，分別是德赫亞的37.5萬鎊 、桑喬和瓦拉內的30萬鎊 、以及B費的25萬鎊。曼聯隊長馬奎爾的周薪則為20萬鎊 。
