沒有波爾多前鋒黃義助 ，孙准沒有鋼巴後衛金英權 ，浩金韩国也沒有泰山中場孫準浩，英权疑再加上南泰熙和權昶勳 ，落选韓國隊11月的强赛12強名單 ，幾乎損失了整條主力中軸線，名单而本托征召的主帅遭质“替補”人員 ，引發了韓媒的选人質疑 。

值得一提的是 ，鋒線另一位人選曹圭成今年踢的是K2聯賽 ，而且隻打進8球，雖然最近連續3場比賽進球 ，但無論是球員實力還是效力的平台，都沒有說服力 。此外 ，本托再次放棄了在西甲馬略卡表現出色的李剛仁 ，葡萄牙人的解釋是韓國隊中場其他球員表現也很出色 ，但在西甲站穩腳跟的李剛仁 ，怎麽也比在K聯賽都算不上頂級射手的金健熙更值得信賴 。
