在談到如何能夠扭轉這一局麵時，《CGTN》文章認為中國籃球需要加深人才的挖掘 ，不能僅僅憑借各個CBA的青年隊去輸送人才，此外還稱禁止外援征戰CBA賽場也並非是解決問題的方法。最後 ，《CGTN》還舉了國足成功歸化的例子 ，並表示歸化一直是許多中國籃球球迷的禁忌 ，但事實證明這是有效的 ，國足在世預賽中的進步就是最好的例子 。
