2021-22賽季歐會杯第三輪資格賽次回合比賽在本周五全部結束 ，杯附歐會杯附加賽的加赛對陣情況隨即產生 。熱刺的对阵對手是葡超球隊費雷拉，而羅馬則將對陣土超球隊特拉布宗體育 。热刺
歐會杯全稱為歐洲足聯歐洲協會聯賽 ，遇葡是超队超劲歐足聯在2021年創立的一項第三級別的俱樂部歐戰賽事 ，排在歐冠和歐聯杯之後。罗马旅本賽季是碰土首屆歐會杯 ，在通過三輪資格賽和一輪附加賽之後 ，杯附將決出22支獲勝球隊，加赛他們將和歐聯杯附加賽中被淘汰的对阵10支球隊一起參加歐會杯小組賽。
歐會杯32支球隊被分為8個小組 ，热刺8個小組第一直接晉級16強，遇葡8個小組第二則將和本賽季歐聯杯小組賽的超队超劲8個小組第三競爭其餘16強的席位 。本賽季的罗马旅歐會杯決賽將於2022年5月25日在阿爾巴尼亞首都地拉那舉行 ，歐會杯冠軍可以獲得下賽季的歐聯杯小組賽參賽資格 。
上賽季的英超第七名熱刺和意甲第七名羅馬是首屆歐會杯的兩大奪冠熱門 ，熱刺將在附加賽中迎戰費雷拉，這支葡超球隊在第三輪資格賽中兩回合總比分4-1戰勝了北愛爾蘭球隊拉恩 。穆裏尼奧執教的羅馬對手則是特拉布宗體育 ，在第三輪資格賽中，特拉布宗體育通過點球大戰4-3淘汰了挪威球隊莫爾德 。
歐會杯附加賽的兩回合比賽時間分別是8月19日和8月26日 ，熱刺和羅馬的賽程均為先客後主 ，占有一定優勢。此外值得一提的是 ，本賽季歐足聯已經取消了歐戰的客場進球規則 ，因此如果兩隊主客場兩回合的總進球數相同 ，那麽不再比較客場進球數多少 ，而是直接進入加時賽。
此外在歐會杯附加賽中一些受人關注的對陣還有：比利時球隊安德萊赫特迎戰荷甲球隊維迪斯 、瑞士勁旅巴塞爾迎戰瑞典球隊哈馬比 、荷甲豪門費耶諾德迎戰瑞典球隊埃爾夫斯堡 、法甲球隊雷恩對挪威球隊羅森博格 。
