武磊表示 ：“雖然進球不少，武磊但自己個人進球方麵 ，欧洲我覺得額考慮的联击世界杯並不多，關鍵還是球隊的整體 ，無論勝利也好 ，失利也好 ，都需要大家共同去麵對承擔。”
談到旅歐兩年多給予自己的改變 ，武磊表示 ：“在歐洲生活這兩年多 ，感觸其實挺深的。包括平時訓練節奏和中超也完全不能比 ，人身處在那種節奏裏 ，或多或少肯定都會有一些進步 ，當然，這種進步不僅僅是技戰術方麵 ，主要還是體現在心理層麵上 。因為快節奏的環境中你能適應 ，回到國家隊 ，再打洲際比賽 ，自信心方麵會給我帶來很多的提升，我覺得在歐洲足球整體的氛圍和環境下 ，二級聯賽完全也是可以說比中超鍛煉價值大 。”
武磊說 ：“李指導也說了如果有10幾個球員在歐洲踢球，那國家隊完全是另外一種情況 ，另外一種心態，去麵對這些亞洲的對手。我們現在國家隊在亞洲不能說一流球隊 ，和一流球隊肯定有一定差距 ，但是 ，頂級球隊想贏我們也不是那麽容易 。進入12強之後 ，我們也完全有能力衝擊世界杯的資格。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
