9月23日，卡帅廣州隊主帥卡納瓦羅被曝與恒大完成解約 ，分手足球評論員潘偉力在個人社交平台上談到了相關話題 ：第一是足够不是最好時機 ？第二錢怎麽賠付的 ？第三，誰來接他的大度班 ？
潘偉力首先表示 ：“這絕對不是卡納瓦羅心中最好的與恒大分手的時機 ，因為卡納瓦羅二進宮執教恒大之後 ，税都三年半的卡帅時間裏隻拿到一個中超冠軍 ，這對於卡納瓦羅來說其實是分手不能夠接受的 ，不僅是足够他本人 ，包括集團也是大度不夠滿意的 ，也不足以支撐卡納瓦羅重新回到意大利爭取一份心儀的税都工作。他更希望拿到今年的卡帅中超冠軍再談未來 。但是分手現在顯然無法等到那一天了 。”
談到錢怎麽賠付的足够問題 ，潘偉力繼續說道 ，大度“很多人說卡納瓦羅因為是税都留戀恒大高薪舍不得走，這肯定是一方麵因素 ，但在這次分手時恒大表現的足夠大度 ，雖然集團和俱樂部都麵臨嚴重的財務危機 ，但是卡納瓦羅身為大灣區高級人才身份所拿到的將近4000萬人民幣的退稅 ，俱樂部還是非常大度的把這個錢給了卡納瓦羅 ，而沒有歸到俱樂部的賬上 ，原本這個錢應該退到俱樂部的 ，但是他們把這個錢基本當做了解約金 ，違約賠償給到了卡納瓦羅 。”
隨後潘偉力談到第三個問題 ，誰來接他的班 ？潘偉力表示 ：“這個事其實比較明確 ，隻要這支球隊一天還歸屬恒大的話 ，鄭智就絕對是第一主帥候選人 ，但是如果未來這支球隊給到了廣州市足協托管的話 ，可能鄭智和足協都彼此都不會選擇對方，到時候的廣州隊有可能會出現一位新的主帥 。”
