9月23日 ，卡帅廣州隊主帥卡納瓦羅被曝與恒大完成解約，分手足球評論員潘偉力在個人社交平台上談到了相關話題 ：第一是足够不是最好時機 ？第二錢怎麽賠付的 ？第三 ，誰來接他的大度班 ？
潘偉力首先表示 ：“這絕對不是卡納瓦羅心中最好的與恒大分手的時機 ，因為卡納瓦羅二進宮執教恒大之後 ，税都三年半的卡帅時間裏隻拿到一個中超冠軍 ，這對於卡納瓦羅來說其實是分手不能夠接受的 ，不僅是足够他本人 ，包括集團也是大度不夠滿意的 ，也不足以支撐卡納瓦羅重新回到意大利爭取一份心儀的税都工作 。他更希望拿到今年的卡帅中超冠軍再談未來 。但是分手現在顯然無法等到那一天了 。”
談到錢怎麽賠付的足够問題，潘偉力繼續說道，大度“很多人說卡納瓦羅因為是税都留戀恒大高薪舍不得走 ，這肯定是一方麵因素，但在這次分手時恒大表現的足夠大度 ，雖然集團和俱樂部都麵臨嚴重的財務危機 ，但是卡納瓦羅身為大灣區高級人才身份所拿到的將近4000萬人民幣的退稅，俱樂部還是非常大度的把這個錢給了卡納瓦羅 ，而沒有歸到俱樂部的賬上 ，原本這個錢應該退到俱樂部的 ，但是他們把這個錢基本當做了解約金 ，違約賠償給到了卡納瓦羅 。”
隨後潘偉力談到第三個問題 ，誰來接他的班 ？潘偉力表示：“這個事其實比較明確，隻要這支球隊一天還歸屬恒大的話 ，鄭智就絕對是第一主帥候選人，但是如果未來這支球隊給到了廣州市足協托管的話 ，可能鄭智和足協都彼此都不會選擇對方 ，到時候的廣州隊有可能會出現一位新的主帥 。”
