本周五 ，丁丁比利時隊官方確認 ，缺阵德布勞內和維特塞爾都將不會出戰本屆歐洲杯的首战时主帅希时间首場比賽 。在當天晚些時候出席發布會時，比利比利時隊主帥羅伯托·馬丁內斯談到了自己的望多這一安排 。
“我們決定德布勞內不隨隊出戰首場比賽，两天這樣他就能多擁有兩天的恢复恢複時間 。他在訓練場上的丁丁情況非常好，接下來的缺阵兩天非常重要 。”馬丁內斯這樣說道。首战时主帅希时间在此前的比利歐冠決賽中 ，德布勞內麵部受傷 。望多

比利時隊目前在國際足聯排名中位列榜首，不過馬丁內斯表示，球隊不會因此背負壓力 ，“（排名第一）不會對我們造成任何改變 ，我不認為我們會因為外界的期待而感到不安 。球隊已經做好了非常充足的準備 。當然 ，對於國家隊的大賽來說 ，第一場比賽總是很困難 。”
