據VnExpress的比赛消息人士透露，越南足協（VFF）的紧急領導人收到了亞足聯關於美亭體育場質量的投訴——球場草皮 、照明係統 、亚足影响多功能廳的定越敦促質量都被批評 ，並且被認定為影響了當地時間9月7日越南和澳大利亞的南队比賽 。亞足聯建議越南足協在世界杯預選賽的主场质量整改下一場比賽之前緊急尋找改進方法 。10月份的比赛兩場比賽 ，越南隊將先後挑戰中國隊和阿曼隊，紧急不過均是亚足影响客場作戰 ，越南隊下一個主場 ，定越敦促是南队在11月11日迎戰日本隊 。
