而來自加泰媒體“L'Esportiu”的最新報道 ，為了使得梅西的續約合同生效 ，巴薩需要先減少2億歐元的工資支出 。現在 ，巴薩已經與皮克、羅貝托等球員商談降低工資，而隻有皮克對此有意，其餘球員不同意削減工資 。另外 ，巴薩高層還希望清洗皮亞尼奇和烏姆蒂蒂，兩人如果被清洗 ，也會削減巴薩上千萬歐元的支出 。
