近日 ，粤媒严重廣州隊官方宣布與主帥卡納瓦羅以及整個意大利教練團隊解約 ，广州這也意味著卡納瓦羅第二次執掌球隊的恒大滑坡旅程正式結束 。目前廣州隊尚未集結 ，近年接下來球隊將何去何從 ，成绩還是卡纳未知數。
本賽季廣州隊的瓦罗戰績為9勝3平2負 ，已經殺入到中超爭冠組行列 。难辞卡納瓦羅率隊打完第一階段後返回意大利休假 ，其咎原計劃他將在本月回到中國並率隊出戰12月的粤媒严重中超 。
說起來，广州廣州隊與卡納瓦羅的恒大滑坡合同明年年底才到期 。由於眾所周知的近年原因，球隊已很難再和卡納瓦羅團隊合作 ，成绩分手對雙方來說都是卡纳解脫 。
不久前 ，廣州隊官方發布了主題為“感謝 、祝福卡納瓦羅”的海報並配文“Time to say goodbye（到了告別的時間）” ，意大利人第二次執教廣州隊的旅程也正式宣告結束。
在經濟層麵，雙方的這次分手頗為昂貴 。有消息稱 ，卡納瓦羅拿到了近3000萬元人民幣（另一種說法為4000萬元）的退稅款並自願放棄合同中剩餘的薪水 。
球隊麵臨財政困難 ，外界擔心教練組已遭遇欠薪 ，對此，在接受意大利媒體采訪時卡納瓦羅表示 ：“我並不是因為經濟原因離開廣州隊 ，俱樂部一直定期在支付我的薪水 。事實是我無法再忍受疫情下的限製，我把家人放在首位 ，選擇回到我的城市 ，放棄了11個月的薪水 。對我來說 ，這仍然是一段美好的經曆 。”
自2017年底重新拿起廣州隊教鞭 ，卡納瓦羅帶隊近4年時間的經曆堪稱曲折離奇 ：過去三年 ，擁有強大球員陣容的卡納瓦羅隻帶隊拿到一次中超冠軍（2019賽季）；短暫執掌中國國家隊並率隊出戰“中國杯”；因俱樂部戰績不佳 ，被要求“學習”；2020年率隊顆粒無收 ，創隊史最差一年……
從競技層麵來看 ，卡納瓦羅帶隊這三年多的時間是無法打高分的 。廣州隊（廣州恒大）馳騁中超十年來 ，成績在近三年滑坡得比較嚴重 ，作為主帥自然是難辭其咎 。
解約卡納瓦羅的同時，廣州隊至今仍未集結 ，接下來隊伍將何去何從 ，目前還是未知數 。下個月開戰的足協杯 ，球隊有可能派出劉智宇率領的預備隊出戰 。
