薩拉赫在本賽季的季明各項賽事中攻入了31球，並幫助安菲爾德斬獲了聯賽杯和足總杯的天开冠軍 ，他個人也收獲了英超金靴 ，个人冠重以及一係列的荣誉其他個人獎項 ，包括記者協會評選的萨拉始用赛年度最佳球員等等 。
薩拉赫本賽季最後一次出場是赫盼换欧在歐冠決賽中再一次輸給了皇馬，在那場0-1的新赛遺憾之旅中 ，埃及人的季明幾次射門都被庫爾圖瓦神勇封堵 。
賽季結束後 ，天开薩拉赫在個人社交媒體上寫了一封感謝利物浦球迷的个人冠重信件 ，這位29歲的荣誉前鋒談到了歐冠決賽：“我無法用語言形容 ，我們有多想把獎杯帶回利物浦 ，萨拉始用赛但最終我們沒能做到。”
“我對球迷們的支持感激不盡 。這是一個非常漫長的賽季 ，但我希望下賽季從明天就開始 。”
