俄羅斯與烏克蘭衝突發生後 ，西方世界給予了俄羅斯嚴厲的瓦罗製裁 。而在足球領域 ，将俄界杯俄羅斯也遭遇了禁賽等處罰 。驱逐确决近日，出世前金球先生卡納瓦羅在接受采訪時也談起了這一話題，个正他表示將俄羅斯驅逐出世界杯是卡纳正確的決定 。
卡納瓦羅在球員時代是瓦罗一名出色的後衛 ，並在2006年贏得了金球獎 。将俄界杯退役後的驱逐确决卡納瓦羅成為了一名足球教練 ，並曾在恒大以及中國國家隊任職 ，出世也因此受到了中國球迷更多的个正關注 。
談起國際足聯將俄羅斯驅逐出世界杯時 ，卡纳卡納瓦羅說道 ：“是瓦罗的 ，足球界並非是将俄界杯另一個世界 ，它必須發出信號 ，而現在它也確實做到了 。我認為將俄羅斯驅逐出世界杯是正確的決定。”
隨後，卡納瓦羅談起了意大利即將要麵對的世預賽歐洲區附加賽 ：“我們在羅馬對戰瑞士的時候丟掉了晉級名額 ，如果意大利連續兩次錯過世界杯 ，這就是一場災難 ，我認為曼奇尼可以找到晉級的辦法 。在意大利與世界杯之間 ，可能葡萄牙會是阻礙 ，但是土耳其也不是好惹的 ，而在這之前我們需要在巴勒莫擊敗北馬其頓。”
