北京時間1月8日 ，據英國《每日星報》報道 ，克非C羅對朗尼克非常不滿，正式主帅曼聯的不合正式主教練若不合心意將離隊 。

根據《每日星報》的不合消息 ，C羅對於朗尼克非常不滿 。心意報道稱 ，将离朗尼克將在本賽季結束後出任曼聯隊的罗对朗尼顧問 ，參與到選帥當中，克非但也不排除他本人轉正的正式主帅可能性。不過C羅已經表示 ，他不會支持朗尼克 。根據多家媒體的消息 ，除了朗尼克 ，波切蒂諾、滕哈赫、羅傑斯都是曼聯新帥的候選人 。
《每日星報》透露 ，如果對曼聯新帥不滿意的話 ，C羅可能會在今夏離隊 。葡萄牙巨星與曼聯的合同將於2023年夏天到期 ，但這並不能成為阻止他離開的因素 。本賽季 ，曼聯的戰績不佳 ，這對於誌在為紅魔重奪冠軍獎杯而回歸的C羅來說是不能接受的。此外，C羅對朗尼克的戰術並不認可，而且與他本人關係不佳 。
