英格蘭名宿魯尼近來黴運連連 ，偷拍门他在酒店參加派對後 ，曝鲁被偷拍到和幾位半裸女性的尼或親密合影 ，之後又在德比郡的因下訓練中鏟傷了自家球員傑森-奈特 。而且魯尼可能因為這次偷拍門事件下課 ，课妻科琳德比郡擔心他的相信行為會損害俱樂部聲譽 。
一位消息人士向《太陽報》透露：“（魯尼下課的偷拍门）可能性是50% 。作為教練 ，曝鲁他必須以身作則 ，尼或無論是因下場上還是場下 。這是课妻科琳人們對他的最低要求。當他在晚上外出時 ，相信在公共場合下無法控製住自己 ，偷拍门那麽他怎麽能帶領好一群年輕人？曝鲁這種行為損害了俱樂部的聲譽 。”
德比郡俱樂部對內部的尼或管理一直很嚴格 ，尤其是在2018年隊內兩名球員湯姆-勞倫斯和梅森-貝內特酒後駕車被定罪後，俱樂部開始實施零容忍政策 ，希望以此恢複德比郡俱樂部的聲譽 。但這一次主帥魯尼卻帶頭曝出醜聞 ，讓管理層非常生氣 。新賽季的英冠聯賽將在8月7日開始 ，而魯尼有可能在那之前失去工作 。
消息人士接著說 ：“魯尼是英冠薪水最高的人之一 ，現在失去他將是一個巨大的挫折 。”魯尼在2020年1月以球員兼教練的身份加盟德比郡以來，他的年薪高達450萬英鎊 ，不過巨額薪水的一部分由讚助商支付。今年1月魯尼決定退役 ，並且成為德比郡全職主帥 ，雙方簽約至2023年，但上賽季德比郡隻是勉強保級 。
《太陽報》透露 ，魯尼和一些朋友在夜總會狂歡 ，並且通宵豪飲 。大約淩晨4時，醉醺醺的魯尼和三位21歲的年輕女性離開夜總會進入了附近的酒店 。魯尼在酒店房間內坐在椅子上昏睡過去 ，而這三名女子則半裸著和魯尼合影 ，並且把照片發布到網上炫耀。事後魯尼對此很生氣，並且報警稱對方在自己不知情的情況下被帶進酒店，稱自己“被設計了” 。但柴郡警方在本周二宣布，經過調查後沒有發現任何違法行為 。
涉事女子們也承認 ，她們並沒有和魯尼發生性關係 。而且幸運的是 ，妻子科琳這一次站在了魯尼這邊 。一位朋友表示 ：“科琳告訴朋友們 ，她和魯尼之間的一切都很好，而且她對他那晚所發生的事情毫不懷疑 。科琳從很多朋友那裏收到了關於這些偷拍照片的消息 ，但她堅持認為他們之間沒有問題 。科琳是個堅強的女性，她曾麵臨過更加糟糕的情況 ，但她不會容忍胡鬧 。”
