當地時間11月29日晚 ，西甲下课西甲副班長萊萬特俱樂部發布官方公告 ，副班宣布主帥哈維爾-佩雷拉下課 ，长本次换同時離開的季第還有他的三名教練組成員 。
萊萬特官網公告稱 ：“萊萬特俱樂部董事會在11月29日舉行會議 ，帅前帅佩決定終止和主帥哈維爾-佩雷拉以及教練組成員馬諾洛-薩爾瓦多、河南大衛-納瓦羅和曼努埃爾-法哈多的队主合同 。萊萬特感謝他們四人在俱樂部此前的雷拉工作和承諾 ，並祝福他們未來在職業和個人方麵一切順利 。西甲下课萊萬特教練阿萊西奧-裏斯奇將臨時接管一線隊。副班”
哈維爾-佩雷拉過去曾兩度在萊萬特擔任助理教練 ，长本次换去年9月他來到中國執教河南嵩山龍門 。季第今年10月萊萬特邀請哈維爾-佩雷拉回歸執教 ，帅前帅佩而哈維爾-佩雷拉選擇了離開中國前往舊主擔任主帥 。河南但哈維爾-佩雷拉在上任後率隊參加的队主七輪西甲聯賽中 ，萊萬特隻取得3平4負的成績 。上周末的西甲聯賽萊萬特客場1-3負於貝蒂斯 ，最終俱樂部做出了換帥的決定 。
上賽季萊萬特獲得西甲第14名，但本賽季球隊成績糟糕 ，前15輪過後7平8負未嚐勝績 ，僅積7分在西甲積分榜上墊底 。萊萬特在本賽季已經先後解雇了帕科-洛佩斯和哈維爾-佩雷拉兩任主帥 ，他們接下來需要尋找第三任主帥，希望能盡快獲勝並努力爭取保級。
