歐洲12家豪門俱樂部宣布將創辦歐洲超級聯賽 ，尤文尤文俱樂部主席阿涅利在最後時刻“背叛”歐足聯選擇支持歐洲超級聯賽。上涨赛已不過阿涅利主席的阿涅這個決定已經幫助尤文俱樂部開始獲利 ，本周尤文的利支股價暴漲17.85% 。
尤文俱樂部是持欧超联一家上市公司 ，據《羅馬體育報》報道 ，获利在尤文俱樂部官方宣布參加歐洲超級聯賽之後 ，尤文股市將此視為重大利好消息。上涨赛已在本周一尤文俱樂部的阿涅股價上漲了17.85%，收盤價格達到每股0.911歐元 。利支如果以這個股價計算 ，持欧超联尤文俱樂部目前的获利市值已經接近12億歐元。
阿涅利在去年還和歐足聯主席切費林保持同一立場 ，尤文希望通過歐冠改革增加俱樂部收入 ，上涨赛已反對歐洲超級聯賽 。阿涅不過美國摩根大通財團為歐洲超級聯賽提供了35億歐元的資金 ，最終阿涅利選擇了反水，支持歐洲超級聯賽 ，並且親自擔任歐洲超級聯賽副主席 。而如今尤文股價大漲 ，也證明人們看好尤文選擇歐超聯賽後的發展前景 。
英超六大豪門很多球迷反對自己的球隊參加歐超聯賽 ，但尤文球迷們對待歐超聯賽的態度則是支持和反對參半 。一些球迷在網上力挺阿涅利 ：“這是我們朝前邁出的一步，和德勞倫蒂斯（那不勒斯主席）、洛蒂托（拉齊奧主席）等人談判隻會浪費時間” 、“這是阿涅利的傑作 。多年來他一直試圖挑戰意甲和歐足聯 。”也有一些尤文球迷反對參加歐洲超級聯賽 ：“你正在殺死足球。”
