“C羅告訴隊友們 ：我回到曼聯有兩個原因 ，更衣首先是室讲因為我熱愛這家俱樂部。第二是我希望在這家俱樂部中培養勝利的心態 ，我不是回來當啦啦隊長的 。如果你們想成功，那麽我需要你們從心底裏熱愛這家俱樂部 。你需要為這家俱樂部吃飯 、睡覺 、戰鬥 。無論你是否出場 ，你都需要支持你的隊友們 ，永遠為俱樂部付出100% 。”
C羅接著說 ：“我來這裏是為了勝利 ，隻是為了這個 。勝利給我們帶來快樂，我想要快樂，你們呢 ？你們都是了不起的球員 ，我相信你們的能力 ，否則我就不會回來了。如果你全力以赴 ，球迷們就會支持你 。我隻是想創造一種勝利的心態 ，這樣當有一天我退役時 ，這種勝利的心態也會繼續存在，這群球員會像過去一樣主宰足球 。”
最後C羅表示：“我會為了球隊竭盡全力 ，但我也需要你們的支持 。你們準備好戰鬥了嗎 ？你們準備好把一切都犧牲在球場上了嗎 ？”而在C羅發表了這次激動人心的講話後 ，曼聯全隊為他送上了熱烈的掌聲 。
