The special edition。 Back to the Future。 style Nike Mag self-lacing sneakers are all gone, but you'll soon be able to get the next best thing in the Nike HyperAdapt — if you pay the high price. 。

If you're considering picking a pair up, here's a refresher on what you're getting: A low-top, cross training-style sneaker with a wireless charging dock embedded in its sole that lights up. When fully charged, the lithium-ion battery that powers the shoe will last about two weeks and take up to three hours to charge. 。
In addition to the glowing sole and self-lacing component, there are also LEDs on the sneaker's heel to indicate power levels. When the sneaker's sole and heel LEDs are blue, you have a full charge, when they're yellow you have a few more days of power left and when they turn red you need an immediate charge. 。
Again, the price is pretty extraordinary for a sneaker, but if you look at it in the same category as a smartphone or pair of high-end, Bluetooth headphones, the price for the tech-powered shoes may feel a bit more reasonable.。Still, the notion of having to now also keep an eye on your sneaker's charger level, in addition to all your other mobile devices, could prove to be the central challenge, beyond price, for the HyperAdapt getting traction. We'll know more once we've had a chance to try them out in person. 。(责任编辑:探索)
