比賽第65分鍾 ，场后武磊替補出場換下恩巴爾巴。武磊由於當時西班牙人比分領先，赛前说好守武磊在出場後把主要精力放在了邊路協助隊友防守上 。和本换球好防而本澤馬也經常到這一側活動 ，泽马和踢右中場的衣上武磊有過一些對抗 。賽後 ，场后武磊還和皇馬前鋒本澤馬交換了球衣 。武磊目前武磊已經抵達阿聯酋迪拜和國足會合 ，赛前说好守備戰接下來的和本换球好防12強賽 。
從比賽錄像可以看出 ，當時西班牙人球員迪達克先走到本澤馬身旁試圖交換球衣 ，但本澤馬還是徑直走向武磊脫下球衣交換 。武磊在接受央視采訪時透露 ：“基本上每場比賽結束之後都會換球衣吧，有時候是在更衣室裏邊 。昨天是比賽前就和本澤馬說好了 ，然後比賽一結束就換了。”
作為升班馬，西班牙人在本賽季西甲聯賽的成績為2勝3平3負 ，此前他們唯一的一場勝利是主場1-0小勝阿拉維斯。武磊表示：“昨天確實比較興奮 ，雖然說是這個賽季的第二場勝利 ，但相比第一場含金量確實不一樣，所以更衣室所有人都非常興奮 ，隊友 、教練……也包括球迷 。昨天確實也是球迷最多的一場 ，因為慢慢隨著疫情好轉，看台也在逐漸開放 ，所以昨天球迷們也給我們很多的鼓勵 。”
武磊還談到了自己替補出場後教練對自己的要求 ：“因為我上去的時候已經2-0領先 ，所以首先是做好防守 ，然後最主要還是利用我的特點 ，還是希望有時間 、或者有機會利用自己前插的特點能夠去尋找一些機會 。但是2-0之後 ，肯定對手是全力進攻 ，所以更多可能在比賽中還是防守做的多一點。”
