北京時間6月5日 ，曝拉據《馬卡報》的波尔巴萨并消息，巴薩如今的塔和讨论財政問題依舊相當嚴重 ，球員麵臨著再一次的高层降薪。
《馬卡報》指出 ，再次知情巴薩目前的降薪財政問題極其糟糕 ，俱樂部因此無法簽下新援 。曝拉巴薩的波尔巴萨并問題不但來自於財政的限製 ，還有自身的塔和讨论工資大大超標 ，超過了西甲方麵設置的高层工資帽 。
除了出售一些球員 ，再次知情《馬卡報》表示，降薪主席拉波爾塔領導的曝拉管理層正在嚴肅地考慮降薪的可能 ，拉波爾塔和管理者們已經公開討論了這一可能 ，波尔巴萨并並且這種可能性越來越大 。塔和讨论然而巴薩高層尚未把這個消息告知球員們 ，更衣室對潛在的降薪並不知情 。
在6月結束前，巴薩打算出售隊內的一些關鍵球員 ，為已簽約的球員騰出空間 ，比如凱西和克裏斯滕森 。然而《馬卡報》指出，即便如此，巴薩下賽季的工資單也不會因此而降低多少 。
據悉 ，拉波爾塔計劃與球員們談談 ，想要商量出一個解決方法 。不過這次降薪可能並非是一刀切，《馬卡報》表示，隻有最頂端的成年球員才會受到影響 。
但無論如何 ，巴薩球員們相信，自己已經為俱樂部做出了巨大的犧牲 。然而巴薩管理者們仍然希望能說服球員 ，讓他們認為這是合理的 ，因為他們還想簽下萊萬等多名球員 ，所以現有的球員會被要求做出更多犧牲 。
