北京時間4月8日，在成功和曼城續約至2025年後，劳内比利時中場巨星德布勞內發言，续约表達了自己對於藍月亮的不难忠誠於愛慕 。
在曼城官網的城帮訪談中 ，德布勞內談到 ：“選擇續約對於我而言並不是助成困難的事情 ，我感覺自己真的为现很幸運 。在我來到曼城的德布時候，這支球隊的劳内陣容就已經非常不錯了 ，這麽多年過去了 ，续约出現了很多球員更替 ，不难但我依然留在了這裏 ，城帮這是助成一件很不錯的事情 。”
“我們一起贏得了很多獎杯 ，为现球隊真的德布很棒 。我們所采用的打法也給了我更多的動力 ，這是我想要的前進方式，所以說續約對於我而言並不是什麽難以抉擇的事情 。”
談到瓜迪奧拉帶來的有益影響 ，德布勞內說道 ：“這的確對我很又幫助。主要的原因在於感受 ，我對這個俱樂部還有這支球隊的感受 。是整個團隊幫助我達到了現在的水平。”
