在曼城官網的城帮訪談中 ，德布勞內談到 ：“選擇續約對於我而言並不是助成困難的事情 ，我感覺自己真的为现很幸運。在我來到曼城的德布時候 ，這支球隊的劳内陣容就已經非常不錯了 ，這麽多年過去了 ，续约出現了很多球員更替，不难但我依然留在了這裏 ，城帮這是助成一件很不錯的事情 。”

談到瓜迪奧拉帶來的有益影響 ，德布勞內說道：“這的確對我很又幫助 。主要的原因在於感受 ，我對這個俱樂部還有這支球隊的感受 。是整個團隊幫助我達到了現在的水平 。”
